About / 00
We build. We run it.
SGNL Technologies is a technology company, not a studio for hire. We pick problems worth years of our lives, build the product ourselves, and operate it in production — where the real work starts.
Mission / 01
To build the software infrastructure that serious industries are still waiting for.
Whole industries run on software nobody would choose. Legal research, dealership operations, drug discovery — fields where the work is demanding and the tools are an afterthought, because the people who understand the problem and the people who can build usually aren’t the same people.
We close that gap by going deep on one domain at a time. Learn how the work actually happens, build the thing that should have existed, then stay and operate it until it earns its place.
That is a slower way to build a company. It is also the only way to build products that hold up under people who depend on them.
Portfolio / 02
What we’re building.
Two products live, one under a code name. We also take on a small number of builds each year for partners we’d be proud to sit beside — those are marked as such, because the distinction matters.

Principles / 03
Four rules we don’t bend.
01
We own what we build
Our products are ours to run, not deliverables to hand over and forget. Every shortcut we take comes back to us at 3 a.m., which is the only reliable way to keep a team honest about quality.
02
Depth over breadth
A small number of products, each taken seriously for years. We would rather be the company that built three things worth using than the one that shipped thirty nobody remembers.
03
One team, whole stack
The people who design it build it and operate it. No handoffs, no layer of translation between the person who understands the problem and the person changing the code.
04
Motion with meaning
Animation carries hierarchy, direction, and feedback. When it stops earning its place, we cut it. Reduced-motion is a first-class path, not an afterthought.
Founder / 04

Solomon Gertser
Founder · San Diego
Solomon founded SGNL Technologies in San Diego, where he is an International Business major at UC San Diego. He builds the company’s products end to end and operates them himself, rather than handing work over and moving on.
KitLaw came out of his own path. He was an aspiring corporate attorney — close enough to the profession to see how much of the job is research overhead rather than judgement — and built the tool he expected to spend his career wanting.
Project Quantico came from a different impulse: to point the technology at malaria and HIV, diseases that fall hardest on the people least able to fund research into them. If the computational half of drug development gets dramatically cheaper, more of those programmes become worth running at all.
He came to that work without a background in quantum mechanics or pharmacology. The tool he wanted didn’t exist, so he learned enough of the science to start building it — and is hiring the people who know it far better than he does.
