SGNL Technologies — Est. 2026
Softwarethatsignalsintent.
We build software products and run them ourselves — KitLaw in legal research, Project Quantico in development, and select builds for partners.
Manifesto / 00
Webuildtheproductswethinkshouldexist.
SGNL is a technology company, not a vendor. We pick problems worth years of our lives, build the product ourselves, and carry it all the way into production — where the real work starts.
That means we live with our decisions. The schema, the latency, the 3 a.m. page — every shortcut we take comes back to us, which is the only reliable way to keep a team honest about quality.
We take on a small number of partner builds each year, for operators we’d be proud to sit beside. Everything else, we own.
Products / 01
What we’ve built.
Products we own and operate, plus the occasional build for a partner. Click through for the full story.

Capabilities / 02
What it takes
to own the whole stack.
- 01
Interface Engineering
The surface is the product's first argument.
Every product we ship carries a front end built to the same standard as its core: sub-second loads, real accessibility, and motion that carries meaning. We treat the interface as engineering, not decoration.
- Next.js / React
- WebGL & Three.js
- Design tokens
- Edge delivery

Product & Platform
Everything behind the login.
Auth, billing, permissions, data models, background work, and the operational surface to run it all. This is the layer that decides whether a product survives its first thousand users, and we build it ourselves.
- Auth & billing
- Postgres
- API design
- Realtime systems

Mobile
The same product, in the pocket.
Native and cross-platform clients that feel quick and considered rather than wrapped. Release pipelines, store operations, push, and telemetry included — a mobile client is a commitment, not a port.
- SwiftUI
- React Native
- Store ops
- Push & telemetry

Design Systems
Identity that survives contact with the codebase.
Marks, type, motion principles, and component libraries codified as production tokens. Our products share a visual language because it is written down and shipped, not because someone remembered it.

- Type systems
- Motion principles

Infrastructure
The part nobody sees until it breaks.
Deployment, observability, uptime, and the unglamorous operational work of keeping live products live. We run what we build, which is the only reason we're qualified to have opinions about it.
- Cloud & deploy
- Observability
- Networking
- Monitoring & uptime
